Karl Lagerfeld wasn’t only a designer of Chanel's ready-to-wear and couture lines, but also an interier designer. He was designing Chanel Mobile Art Pavilion together with Zaha Hadid. Its exterior was designed to mimic the quilted pattern of the classic Chanel 2.55 handbag. Lagerfeld aslo had an international hospitality brand that translated his aesthetic into a range of high-end bespoke projects, including luxury hotels, residential buildings and private clubs.
